How did this title come about?  Titles emerge from my belly, and for some reason the colors in this painting reminded me of a myrtle tree.  But it wasn't just an inert object, it was humming with life. My memory took me back to visiting the great redwood forest in northern California, where the trees seemed to emanate with an ancient wisdom.  My memory also led me to times in other forests, where it felt like I was being hummed to, in a soothing way.
