As a seeker, I have placed myself in several different categories, with the adoption of character traits and attire for each new role. As I have grown and transformed, I can see how all of the roles have been “me.” Certain facets of me would become dominant and show themselves on a regular basis for a certain amount of time, while others would fall away. And there will always be particular personality traits that surface when we are with certain people, like our favorite friends, that don’t show up necessarily when we are at work, or with our family.
Searching far and wide, into the heavens and down into the depths of earthiness in the body. The seeker remains resolute in her quest for truth and wisdom. She will pursue different personality traits, different careers and she will trade out a whole set of beliefs to incorporate new ones that fit better with where she wants to go. In every transition, a deep listening occurs – a discernment of the subtle rustlings of the soul. And then inspiration strikes and she’s off and running with the wind at her back.
Studies in kinesiology reveal that the body has a wisdom all it’s own. A given subject’s outstretched arm becomes weak when a packet of sacrin, concealed in an envelope, is placed close to the subject’s body. A more recent scientific study revealed that we actually have neurons in our guts. So, our intelligence is not limited to our brains. Listen deeply for the golden nuggets of wisdom that is available to you in your body.
Welcome to my blog! I will be discussing different pieces and the inner connections of how I’ve come to make the art that I do. Feel free to make comments and give your feedback. This is an open environment for discussing art and how we are able to express our inner emotions, feelings and thoughts through art.
